𝗜𝗕𝗕 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗟𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗜 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗨 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗞𝗘, 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗨𝗦

 

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Lapai chapter, has declared an indefinite strike over issues surrounding the implementation of the 2025 Federal Government–ASUU agreement. 

The development is expected to disrupt academic activities at the institution, with students reportedly being directed to leave campus as the industrial action takes effect.

ASUU had earlier listed IBBU Lapai among the universities authorised to begin the process towards industrial action after issuing a 14-day ultimatum.
