In the last two decades, the Nigeria Football Federation has appointed eight foreign coaches – Clemens Westerhof, Johannes Bonfrere, Philippe Troussier, Bora Milutinovic, Thijs Libregts, Berti Vogts, Lars Lagerback and Gernot Rohr to lead the team.
